Listermann Brewing Co. is teaming up with a higher power.

The Cincinnati brewery has collaborated with Father Kyle Schnippel to create Father Kyle's Cinnamon Roll Stout to help celebrate the local priest's upcoming appearance on ABC's Great American Baking Show.

The beer is inspired by one of the foods that Schnippel, who's the pastor at St. John Neumann and Corpus Christi, made on the show.

“I was very excited to be able to join the crew at Listermann Brewing for this beer," Schnippel said in a prepared statement. “The journey that led me to the Great American Baking Show started with taking a homebrewing class at Listermann, nearly seven years ago; so it was a great opportunity to combine two fantastic hobbies: brewing and baking!”

Brewery general manager Jason Brewer said the priest has been coming to Listermann for awhile for his brewing supplies. Schnippel also married Brewer and his wife.

Father Kyle’s Cinnamon Roll Stout will be available on draft and in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles at Listermann starting at noon Wednesday. (Dec. 6) The four-packs will cost $14.99.

Schnippel makes his TV debut on the show Thursday.
