Millersburg Brewing Co. -- a brewery located in the heart of Ohio's Amish country -- will celebrate its five-year anniversary May 5.

"It's kind of hard to believe it's been that long already," award-winning brewmaster Marty Lindon said. "Time has flown."

The celebration runs from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and will feature a caricature artist, food specials, giveaways, live music from Luke Watson and Josiah Whitley, and, of course, beer.

The brewery will release six new beers on draft, with five of them made in small batches specifically for the anniversary party:

-- Mint Julep, an 8 percent malt beverage with natural bourbon and mint flavors.

-- Pina Colada, an 8.5 percent malt beverage aged in Jamaican rum barrels with natural rum, coconut and pineapple flavors.

-- Becks Mill Chill, a Belgian-style dark strong ale aged in Jamaican rum barrels with tart Michigan cherries.

-- MBC Margarita, a 6.75 percent ale brewed with lime and tequila flavors.

-- Millersburg Mule, a 6.5 percent re-creation of a Moscow Mule with spicy ginger, lime and a hint of vodka.

The sixth beer, Beclouded, is a 6.5 percent hazy IPA made in collaboration with homebrewer Greg Irving of North Royalton. Lindon said he expects that beer to stick around as part of a hazy IPA series.

Millersburg, which sells its beer both on draft and in 12-ounce cans around Ohio, produced about 2,000 barrels last year. Its best-selling brands are Lot 21 Blonde, French Ridge IPA and Nuthouse Peanut Butter Porter.

Meanwhile, the brewery also has released its Lady Justice Lager in six-packs. The beer is 4.5 percent alcohol by volume. The six-packs go for $9.99.
