The Moerlein Lager House in Cincinnati was named the Ohio Brewery of the Year at the seventh annual New York International Beer Competition in New York City.

Organizers said they received more than 600 submissions from 14 different countries. Beers were judged last month (February) by beer buyers on category and price, according to the website.
