Pour Boys' Brew House in Washington Court House has closed.

"Yes, it's true not enough local support," the brewery said in a one-sentence email responding to a question about whether it had closed. (You can read a "Five questions with ..." feature I did in August with co-founder and co-brewer Cliff Rhoads by clicking here.)

Karen Bujak of the Great Lakes Brewing News had alerted me about the closing and sent me a photo of a "For sale" sign in the window of the brewery.

Pour Boys, which received its state brewing permit in December 2016, operated a nanobrewery inside a former barbershop and restaurant-bar downtown.

It's the latest Ohio brewery to shut down. Blank Slate Brewing Co. in Cincinnati, Black Box Brewing Co. in Westlake and Portside Distillery in Cleveland are among the others.
