If you fancy barrel-aged beers, Thirsty Dog Brewing Co. has a treat for you this week.

The Akron brewery will release eight barrel-aged beers in bottles — along with two special ones on draft — starting at noon Friday. (Nov. 3)

"The season is upon us for the big, the bold and the barrel-aged," co-owner John Najeway said.

Here’s the rundown of the bottled beers that will be available for sale:

• Siberian Night Imperial Stout Aged in Bourbon Barrels.

• Wulver Wee Heavy Aged in Bourbon Barrels.

• Bourbon barrel-aged 12 Dogs of Christmas.

• Bourbon barrel-aged Cerberus.

• Bourbon barrel-aged Orthus Belgian Dubbel.

• Bourbon barrel-aged Imperial Pumpkin.

• Wee Heavy Aged in Sherry Barrels.

• Bourbon barrel-aged Bernese Barley Wine Ale.

Siberian Night, Wulver, 12 Dogs and Imperial Pumpkin will be sold in 12-ounce four-packs, while the others are available in 750ml bottles. The four-packs are $23.99, while the 750ml bottles are $19.99.

All the bottles feature Thirsty Dog’s signature black and gold labels, along with gold foil on the neck.

The 12 Dogs packaging is a departure from previous years when it was available in 1.5-liter magnum bottles.

Thirsty Dog also will tap barrel-aged Siberian Night finished with coffee from Bent Tree Coffee Roasters in Kent and Siberian Night aged in barrels that once held Crafted Artisan Meadery’s Bananas Foster. Crafted is located nearby in Suffield Township.

The beers also will be available in retail markets, Najeway said.
