CNN, last night...
George Zimmerman has told police he shot Martin in self defense on February 26 in a gated community in Sanford, Florida.
Zimmerman's father said on Wednesday that Martin threatened to kill Zimmerman, broke his nose and beat him so badly that Zimmerman was forced to shoot the teen. Robert Zimmerman Jr., on Thursday, told the same story.
George Zimmerman's account of the story:
Zimmerman, according to the Sentinel report, later told police that he lost sight of Martin and was returning to his SUV when the teen approached him. The two exchanged words, according to Zimmerman, who said Martin then punched him in the nose.
On the ground, Zimmerman said he was repeatedly punched and had his head slammed into the sidewalk, according to the Sentinel report. He began yelling, he told police.
Zimmerman's attorney, Craig Sonner....
Sonner said the gash on the back of Zimmerman's head probably was serious enough for stitches, but he waited too long for treatment so the wound was already healing. Miguel Meza, who identified himself as Zimmerman's cousin, said Zimmerman was in "the fight of his life."
ABC released a short video yesterday of Sanford police bringing Zimmerman in to the police station. If you have an interest in this murder case, take a close look at Zimmerman.

That is not the way a guy looks after being punched in the nose, knocked to the ground and his head slammed into the sidewalk several times. In fact, I would venture to say that the man in handcuffs in the ABC video was not involved in a fight at all. And remember, Zimmerman weighed 240 pounds, Martin weighed 140 pounds.
Whether justice will prevail in this case is yet to be seen. I think it is obvious that the Sanford police have some explainin' to do.
But the reason I mention this story today is because of this....
Breibart.com..."ABC's Reckless Zimmerman Video 'Exclusive' Reveals Nothing"
It's ridiculous to believe that the low quality video reveals anything we didn't already know about events that night.
All ABC has done here is overreach for a so-called scoop in a tragic story in which we don't yet know all the details.
The new video sheds no real new light on what happens.
Immediately following the sudden death of Andrew Breitbart (cause of death still undetermined).....Breitbart followers claimed that they would basically raise Andrew's spirit from the dead by continuing the "work" of the excitable cult leader. I purposely steered clear of talking about the popular winger cult leader at the time of his death. Andrew Breitbart's "work" consisted of sleight of hand deceptive tactics. Whether editing video of Shirley Sherrod or working with Alfalfa-Jimmy O'Keefe editing video of ACORN visits....Breitbart was a deceiver. His role was to deceive those who would listen to him. Breitbart hated anything liberal and was not shy about telling people.
It seems that Breitbart's "risen winger spirit" has now successfully infused itself into the new Leaders of Breitbart.com. The deception, the sleight of hand, the "don't believe your eyes, believe what we say", the bizarreness which marked Andrew Breitbart's shortened life has now,....like a demon in a demon-possession movie....left Andrew's dead body and found refuge in the bodies of the new Breitbart.com Leaders.
Zimmerman's account included Martin attacking him...punching him in the nose, knocking him to the ground, and slamming his head repeatedly on the concrete sidewalk. Yet, police video from ABC shows an unharmed Zimmerman with nary a red splotch, bruise or mark on him.
And the Risen Breitbart.com tells us that the ABC video "sheds no new light on what happened" and the video doesn't reveal "anything we didn't already know."
What the video reveals is that Martin did not, at any time, kick Zimmerman's ass. What the video reveals is that Zimmerman, his father and his brother's accounts of this murder are not credible.
It's time for Sanford police to arrest George Zimmerman and charge him with manslaughter in the death of Trayvon Martin.
