Bud Light Platinum -- a new beer from Anheuser-Busch InBev that targets "trendy" beer drinkers -- will hit store shelves on Monday. The company describes the brew this way: "It's smooth, bold and effortlessly sophisticated, but with the drinkability that consumers expect from a light beer." The beer, which comes in a blue bottle, has 6 percent alcohol by volume, compared with 4.2 percent in the standard Bud Light. Anheuser-Busch InBev has a brewery in Columbus, but so far Bud Light Platinum is being made only at the Baldwinsville, N.Y., Cartersville, Ga., and Los Angeles breweries.
