The Cedar Point and Kings Island amusement parks are rolling out some exclusive craft beers this year.

Cedar Point in Sandusky has teamed up with The Brew Kettle in Strongsville to produce Rougabrew. The beer, a 5 percent helles lager, is named after the park’s new floor-less coaster Rougarou. The beer will be available in bottles and on draft.

“We made Rougabrew to appeal to all craft drinkers and are very excited to have the opportunity to introduce our craft beers to the customers of Cedar Point with the launch of the Rougarou coaster,” Brew Kettle owner Chris Russo said in a news release.

The Brew Kettle is on quite a collaboration run. Earlier this year, the brewery partnered with the Cleveland Cavaliers to produce All For One, a session IPA. That beer is still available.

Cedar Point also announced that it is hosting Brew and BBQ beer tastings May 22-24 and May 29-31. The tastings will feature more than 100 craft beers. For details, click here.

Meanwhile, Kings Island in Mason has announced it is producing three craft beers for the park and will hold the inaugural Banshee Brew Festival on June 12-13. The park told WCPO that it has collaborated with a local brewery — it’s so far unnamed — to make Banshee Brew, Beast Bock and Diamondback Ale.
