The roller coasters will once again be up and running on Sunday at Cedar Point, but the park’s Soak City waterpark and two signature hotels will be closed.

The amusement park closed early Saturday night after a water main break in the city of Sandusky around 7 p.m. disrupted Cedar Point’s main source of water.

Crews worked through the night to fix the water main break, but not in time for the water park to resume normal operations.

The repairs work continued on Sunday.

The park also canceled its early admission for park guests on Sunday.

The park's Hotel Breakers and Sandcastle Suites were closed to guests Sunday night.

Guests were offered rooms at the Breakers Express or Castaway Bay hotels that were not impacted by the water main break.

The park opened at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

This is the second time this season a calamity has closed the park.

In June a severe storm toppled power poles leading into the park trapping guests for hours. The park had to close for a day while repairs were made.

A water main break in 2014 forced the park to close for two days.
