As if the bombs bursting in air were not enough – Cedar Point will distribute special glasses to guests on July Fourth to add some spark to its fireworks display.

There will be four nights of fireworks at the park starting on Friday and concluding on Monday when the special viewing glasses will be distributed to add “spectacular three-dimensional rainbow starbursts” to the display.

The park is also bringing back its free ticket offer all active, retired and honorably-discharged members of the military Friday through Monday.

To be eligible for the free ticket, you must show an active duty ID, retired personnel ID, VA ID or a copy of DD-214 discharge papers and photo ID at the park.

Eligible military members can also purchase up to six discounted tickets for family members for $43 each - a savings of $22 off the regular gate price.

Wild Water Kingdom in Aurora is also offering free admission to the military Friday through Monday.

Kings Island’s free military tickets will be offered Saturday through Monday.

Cedar Point is offering an online deal for other guests.

The Light Up the Point admission four pack allows guests to purchase tickets online for $39.99 each – a savings of $100.

For those fireworks fans, the park is offering VIP seats on the beach.

The price is $20 for adults and $15 for kids 12 & under and includes an all-you-can-eat buffet of hamburgers, brats, chips and drinks along with 3D viewing glasses and a reserved chair on the beach.

There is also a special buffet of cookout fare being offered on the Fourth.
