The 12th annual Cleveland Oktoberfest returns Friday through Monday (Sept. 2-5) to the Cuyahoga County Faigrounds in Berea.



In addition to all the German brews available such as Paulaner, the event includes a special craft beer area that runs 4 p.m. to midnight Friday, 2 p.m. to midnight Saturday and Sunday, and 2 to 8 p.m. Monday.



It will showcase the following breweries: The Brew Kettle, Buckeye, Double Wing, Christian Moerlein, Cornerstone, Fat Headís, Goldhorn, Granite City, Great Lakes, Lager Heads, Market Garden, Nano Brew, Platform, Portside, Rocky River, Sibling Revelry and Thirsty Dog.



Thereís no extra charge for the craft beer tasting. People just pay for the beer they drink. Thereís also a judged competition on Friday night. Iím lucky enough to be one of the judges.
