The company behind a planned import/export terminal for liquidfied natural gas in Maine intends to sell the project.



The facility at Robbinston, Maine, has been proposed by Downeast LNG.



That company said it would seek bids for the unbuilt project on or around July 1.



It had been seeking approval of the Federal Energy Regultaory Commission. A planned pipeline that could have served the facility was recently scrapped by Kinder Morgan.
