Maui Brewing Co. announced today (June 30) that it is moving into Ohio and Indiana.

The Hawaiian brewery has partnered with Cavalier Distributing, which will start distributing draft and cans next week of Maui's flagship beers including Bikini Blonde Lager, Big Swell IPA, Coconut Hiwa Porter and Pineapple Mana Wheat. Seasonal and limited releases also will be available in the state.

“Maui Brewing Co. is excited to be partnering with Cavalier Distributing and expand into Indiana and Ohio," Maui national sales manager Pete Scheider said in a news release. "We’ve received many requests from Midwest fans, and we are happy to be able to share our Hawaiian beer with them."

Maui recently expanded their new production facility and now can handle nearly 100,000 barrels. It's on pace to brew 45,000 barrels this year. The brewery, founded in 2005, has a production brewery and tasting room in Kihei, and a brewpub in Kahana. Maui is available in 17 states and 13 countries.
