The Columbus & Ohio Rail Road Co. has build a new 1-mile rail siding at Scio, and that improvement could be a major game-changer for eastern Ohio.

Railroad spokesman Bob Murray told local officials that the rail spur will boost shipments of natural gas liquids from Scio in Ohio's Utica shale fields.
