The Ohio Craft Brewers Association has chosen Cincinnati to host its third annual conference next year.

The Queen City bested Akron and Cleveland, which also were in contention for the event. The conference is set for Feb. 7-9 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in downtown Cincinnati.

Association Executive Director Mary MacDonald said the willingness of the convention center, which hosts the long-running Cincy Winter Beer Fest, to work with the group was a factor in the decision.

The inaugural conference was held in Wooster. This year's event was held in Dayton and featured Boston Beer Co. founder Jim Koch as the keynote speaker.
