The Reverend

NY Times, today...

A pair of White House officials played a role in providing Representative Devin Nunes of California, a Republican and the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, with the intelligence reports that showed that President Trump and his associates were incidentally swept up in foreign surveillance by American spy agencies.

Several current American officials identified the White House officials as Ezra Cohen-Watnick, the senior director for intelligence at the National Security Council, and Michael Ellis, a lawyer who works on national security issues at the White House Counsel’s Office and formerly worked on the staff of the House Intelligence Committee.

Mr. Cohen-Watnick is a former Defense Intelligence Agency official who was originally brought to the White House by Michael T. Flynn, the former national security adviser.

With that info fresh in your mind, here's the poppycock Paul Ryan laid down on CBS early this morning.......

“You were among the first that [Nunes] briefed. What did he tell you?” (Norah) O’Donnell asked.

“He (Nunes) had told me that — like, a whistleblower-type person had given him some information that was new that spoke to the last administration and part of this investigation,” Ryan said. “He briefs me about it, didn’t know the content of it, only knew the nature of it and that he was going to brief others.”

"...what Chairman Nunes said is he just came into possession of new information that he thought was valuable to this investigation, and that he was going to go and inform people about it,” Ryan said.

“But he hasn’t. I mean, he hasn’t even informed the Republican committee,” O’Donnell said.

“Yeah, I have seen the actual documents. I don’t know that he’s been in possession of them yet. Let me say this: It’s very important that we allow and encourage whistleblowers to talk to Congress,” Ryan said.

“Can you just help me understand that, though? Because if it’s a whistleblower, why wouldn’t that information then be shared with the Democrats on the committee, and even the other Republicans who haven’t seen it?” O’Donnell asked.

“I don’t know the answer to that question, you’d have to ask that person. I don’t even know who this is,” Ryan said.

Phucking "whistleblowers".....two guys working directly for the Trump White House. One a member of Trump's White House legal counsel team, and one "the senior director for intelligence at the National Security Council".....where Steve Bannon is a principle....and hired originally by the scandalized Mike Flynn. Ryan emphasized that these two Trump employees...were whistleblowers. I mean, for Christ's sake.....two Trump hires show Devin Nunes something, something...Nunes goes in front of the media and then immediately to Paul Ryan, and then to the Trump White House...to phucking share the information with the same White House from whence the info originated. Whistleblowers....my ding-a-ling.

Now, referring back to the NY Times paragraphs at the top.....see that name Ezra Cohen-Watnick? Look at this from two weeks ago....

President Donald Trump has overruled a decision by his national security adviser, Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster, to sideline a key intelligence operative who fell out of favor with some at the Central Intelligence Agency, two sources told POLITICO.

Politico has it wrong about who made the decision to fire that key intelligence officer. It was CIA Director Mike Pompeo who told McMasters to fire him.

But guess who that "key intelligence operative" was...

Ezra Cohen-Watnick appealed McMaster’s decision to two influential allies with whom he had forged a relationship while working on Trump’s transition team — White House advisers Steve Bannon and Jared Kushner. They brought the matter to Trump...and the president agreed that Cohen-Watnick should remain as the NSC’s intelligence director, according to two people with knowledge of the episode.

So, the entire "episode" is a pile of clown defecation. The whole affair was orchestrated out of the Trump White House. And to what end? To direct the media's attention away from the disastrous-to-Trumpers active investigation by the FBI into possible coordination efforts between Trump campaign people and Russians during last year's campaign period.

The Trump White House team is chock full of incompetent and unfit clowns including the Clown-in-Chief. And these clowns are becoming more and more reckless, and stupid, in their approach to the Russian investigation. The more reckless and stupid the clowns become....the more they look like they are covering for criminal activity.

And as the night follows day, and vice versa....today's Gallup tracking poll has Trump's approval rating at 35%, disapproval at 59%.

To cap off all this clown mayhem.....Donald blasted the Freedom Caucus confederates today...

"The Freedom Caucus will hurt the entire Republican agenda if they don't get on the team, & fast. We must fight them, & Dems, in 2018!"

Those Freedom Caucus members, who Donald now says must be fought....they represent the voters who make up that 35% approval rating. Trump has declared a fight against the only people who still approve of his presidency.

Who in their right mind would do such a thing? Stupid, incompetent, "outsider" clowns, that's who.
