Rudy Gay scored 21 points, Dante Cunningham added season highs of 13 points and 14 rebounds, and the host Memphis Grizzlies beat the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Cunningham, inserted into the starting lineup after All-Star center Marc Gasol sat out with a sprained right ankle, was 6-of-9 from the field as all five Memphis starters finished in double figures.
Marreese Speights had 18 points for Memphis, Tony Allen finished with 13, and Mike Conley had 12 points and eight assists as the Grizzlies won their second in a row.
Kevin Love led Minnesota with 28 points and 11 rebounds, while Wayne Ellington scored 15 points, shooting 6-of-10. Derrick Williams added 14 points for the Timberwolves, who have lost six out of eight.
Bucks 108, Hawks 101
Monta Ellis scored 33 points, including 17 in the fourth quarter, as the host Milwaukee Bucks held off the Atlanta Hawks.
Brandon Jennings added 18 points for the Bucks, who moved to within two games of the idle New York Knicks for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Ellis, who has struggled since coming over in a trade from Golden State on March 14, tied a season low with four points against the Knicks on Monday. On Tuesday, he made 15-of-24 shots, including 7-of-9 in the fourth quarter, sealing the victory with a 15-foot jumper with 1:27 remaining. He added eight assists.
Josh Smith led the Hawks with 30 points and 18 rebounds. Joe Johnson had 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting.
Mavericks 90, Rockets 81
The host Dallas Mavericks used a strong performance by their bench to outscore the Houston Rockets 50-31 in the second and third quarters to overcome an 16-point deficit with less than three minutes to play in the first quarter.
Dirk Nowitzki only hit 5-of-17 shots from the field but still managed to lead Dallas with 21 points as he sank 11-of-12 free throws.
Substitutes Rodique Beaubois (14), Brandan Wright (13) and Jason Terry (12) did quite a bit of the damage as they teamed to contribute 39 points.
Luis Scola led four Houston double-figure scorers with 22 points, but the entire Rocketsí bench only managed to score 17 points.
Goran Dragic added 17 points, while Chandler Parsons contributed 15 and Courtney Lee had 10.
Shawn Marion had a game-high 11 rebounds to lead the Mavericks to a 43-39 margin.
Chase Budinger hit a 23-foot 3-pointer with 2:55 to play in the first quarter to give the Rockets a 26-10 advantage.
The Rockets trimmed their deficit to 11 at the end of the quarter and led 55-53 midway through the third quarter.
