Aeros 3, Curve 1

Jordan Henry drove in two runs, Adam Abraham had an RBI single and Aeros starting pitcher Brett Brach gave up two hits through seven innings in a 3-0 Eastern League win over the Curve on Tuesday in Altoona, Pa.

Brach struck out four, walked three and picked off a runner at first base for his fourth win of the season. Reliever Shawn Armstrong struck out the side in the eighth and closer Preston Guilmet gave up a run on a wild pitch in the ninth but was able to earn his 24th save of the season.

Abraham drove in Jesus Aguilar in the second inning to give the Aeros a 1-0 lead.

The Aeros added two insurance runs in the top of the ninth when Henry singled to score Matt Lawson and Ryan Rohlinger.

The Aeros (79-56) play the Curve again at 7 tonight. The game will be broadcast on WARF (1350-AM).
