The Curve hammered Aeros’ pitching with 16 hits in a 13-8 win Monday night at People’s Natural Gas Stadium in Altoona, Pa.

Curve starting shortstop Brock Holt was ejected in the third inning, but replacement Kelson Brown had three hits, including two solo home runs, and scored four runs and teammate Stefan Welch also had three hits and drove in four runs.

Thomas Neal had a solo home run and three RBI, Jeremie Tice and Chun-Hsiu Chen drove in two runs, and Adam Abraham hit a solo homer for the Aeros.

Losing pitcher Kyle Landis (4-3, 3.52) was the third Aeros pitcher and was shelled, giving up four runs on six hits in just one inning.

The Aeros begin a three-game a series at Canal Park with Erie tonight.

In the first game with the SeaWolves is at 7:05, and Giovanni Soto (5-3, 3.96) will start for the Aeros.
