Coleman, a senior, enters the Division I state wrestling tournament in Columbus with a 34-2 record following first-place performances the past two Saturdays at 160 pounds in the district tournament at Mentor and the sectional tournament at Austintown Fitch.

Gresser, a freshman, won the Division I state championship in the 100-yard breast stroke in a time of one minute and 2.94 seconds and placed third in the 200 individual medley in two minutes and 3.05 seconds Saturday. She also helped the Warriors relays finish fourth (400 freestyle, 3:30.23) and fifth (200 medley, 1:46.51).

Palazzo, a junior, won Division I state championships in the 200-yard individual medley in one minute and 48.75 seconds and 100 breast stroke in 55.19 Saturday. He also helped the Explorers relays finish fifth (200 freestyle, 1:25.57) and seventh (400 freestyle, 3:09.77).

Sapp, a 6-foot-4 senior guard, helped the Rockets clinch the Portage Trail Conference County Division title with 26 points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals in an 82-52 win at Waterloo on Friday. He also had 13 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and two steals in a 62-58 overtime win over Nordonia on Tuesday.
Buchtel, boys basketball
Sims, a 6-foot-2 junior forward, scored 20 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and had three steals in Buchtelís 62-49 victory over Ellet in the City Series Postseason Championship at Garfield on Friday.
