Tanner Scott faced the minimum in three innings and the Baysox scored three first-inning runs and defeated the Ducks on Sunday at Canal Park. The game was halted by rain with one out in the top of the sixth inning.

Scott allowed a single to Luigi Rodriguez leading off the first inning but got a double play and then retired the final eight batters, striking out four.

The Baysox (26-24) scored three runs off Ducks starter Luis Lugo (3-2), who settled down and went 5? innings, striking out six and walking two.

The Ducks (22-23) got on the board just before the storm hit. Bobby Bradley singled and later scored from second when a sacrifice bunt by Yu-Cheng Chang was thrown down the right-field line by Baysox reliever Miguel Castro.

The Ducks and Baysox will resume their series at 1:05 p.m. Monday.
