Francisco Mejia, one of the most enticing players to watch in Indians camp, gave fans an early glimpse of his offensive prowess in the Indians’ 7-6 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday in Cactus League play.

Mejia, the Indians’ No. 1 prospect and the No. 20 prospect in baseball, according to Baseball America, slugged his first home run of the spring, a two-run shot in the fifth inning off of Tyler Webb. Giovanny Urshela also continued his solid start to the spring, going 1-for-2 with an RBI double to raise his average to .400.

Josh Tomlin, in his first start of the spring, allowed one hit in two scoreless innings and struck out two. Dan Otero was roughed up again, surrendering three earned runs on two hits in two-thirds of an inning.
