When we left you in early January, Ohio State had just finished its 6-7 season with an uninspired loss in the Gator Bowl to Florida. Something tells us that “uninspired” will not be an applicable word under coach Urban Meyer.

He rescued Ohio State’s recruiting class and his new strength and conditioning staff put the players through the grinder in offseason workouts.

On Wednesday, the Buckeyes will finally get to the field when spring practices start. It has been a long time since March practices were as anticipated as they are this year. Meyer has made it clear that jobs will be won and lost in the next four weeks, that a culture of heightened competitiveness will reign. With that in mind, here are some of the most pressing issues the Buckeyes face this spring.
