LeBron James scored 25 points and had nine rebounds but the Cavs could not overcome 32 percent shooting on Christmas Day at Oracle Arena in the first game between the two teams since the 2015-16 NBA Finals.

Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving combined to shoot 9-of-31 for 23 points and the Cavs shot 5-of-30 on 3-pointers.

Draymond Green led the Warriors with 22 points and 15 rebounds. Stephen Curry added 19 points and Klay Thompson had 18.

Curry scored 35 points in three quarters and the Warriors handed the Cavs one of the worst home losses in franchise history.

The Cavs trailed by 26 points at halftime and by as many as 43 in the second half.

Irving and Love again struggled, combining to score 11 points on 4-of-16 shooting. Neither team played its starters in the fourth quarter. Green had 16 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists and Andre Iguodala had 20 points for the Warriors.
