Curve 6, Aeros 4
Starting pitcher T.J. House gave up five runs on four hits through four innings, and the host Curve defeated the Aeros 6-4 on Thursday night in an Eastern League game in Altoona, Pa.
The Curve scored five runs in the second inning, when House walked in two runs and gave up RBI singles to Quincy Latimore and Adalberto Santos.
The Aeros scored two runs in the top of the fifth on an RBI single by Ryan Rohlinger and on a fielding error.
The Aeros tried to mount a rally in the eighth inning, when Rohlinger led off with a home run. Adam Abraham singled with the bases loaded to score Davis Stoneburner, but Chun Chen flied out and Jesus Aguilar struck out with the bases loaded to end the inning.
