Quarterback Johnny Manziel will be active for Monday night's AFC North game between the Browns (2-8) and the Baltimore Ravens (3-7) beginning at 8:30 p.m. at FirstEnergy Stadium, but he's buried on the depth chart behind starter Josh McCown and backup Austin Davis.

The 22nd overall pick in last year's draft, Manziel was demoted from starter to third string last week after partying during a recent bye-week break, then failing to tell the Browns the truth when a video capturing a glimpse of the revelry surfaced online.

The No. 3 quarterback is usually inactive for games, but not always. The Browns will have three quarterbacks active on game day for the second time this season and the first time since Oct. 4 at San Diego.

Meanwhile, cornerback Justin Gilbert will start for the first time this season and just the third time since the Browns drafted him eighth overall last year.

He'll fill in for Joe Haden, who's out for the third consecutive game with a concussion, and Pierre Desir, a fourth-round selection in last year's draft who is a healthy scratch. Gilbert was a healthy scratch in the Browns' last game, a 30-9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers on Nov. 15. He has only played 31 defensive snaps this season.

In addition to Haden and Desir, left guard Joel Bitonio (sprained ankle), wide receivers Andrew Hawkins (concussion) and Taylor Gabriel (concussion), defensive lineman Randy Starks (knee) and safety Don Jones will be inactive.

Rookie Cameron Erving will make his second consecutive start in place of Bitonio at left guard. John Hughes will start in place of Starks.

Rookie outside linebacker Nate Orchard (groin) will be active despite entering Monday listed as questionable.

The following players will be inactive for the Ravens: wide receiver Marlon Brown (back), offensive left tackle Eugene Monroe (shoulder), left guard Kelechi Osemele (knee), cornerbacks Tray Walker and Cassius Vaughn, defensive tackle Carl Davis and defensive end Kapron Lewis-Moore.
