The Kent State University women’s golf team, dressed in pink gear for breast cancer awareness month, shot a 10-over 298 in the second round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational at the University of Texas Golf Club.



That leaves the Golden Flashes in 10th place and 25 strokes behind the leader, fourth-ranked Florida.



Sophomore Jennifer Ha moved up 25 spots with a 1-under 71. Ha’s two-day score of 147 leaves her 9 strokes behind the leader and in 24th place. It was her first time breaking par this season.



Freshman Josee Doyon and junior Erin Hawe are tied for 28th place with a two-day score of 148.
