Former GlenOak High School star C.J. McCollum was chosen by the Portland Trail Blazers with the 10th pick in the NBA Draft on Thursday night.
McCollum played four years at Lehigh University but missed most of his senior season with a knee injury.
He averaged 23.9 points in 12 games as a senior and 21.3 points in 111 games in his college career.
He shot 44 percent from the floor, 38 percent on 3-pointers and was an 82.5 percent free-throw shooter in his career. In his senior season it was 49.5 percent overall, 51.6 percent on 3-pointers and 84.9 percent on free throws.
As a junior, McCollum led Lehigh to a win over Duke in the NCAA Tournament.
