The 73rd annual Ohio North South Classic is set for Saturday at Massillon’s Paul Brown Tiger Stadium.

The event features two games, with the first to kick off at noon featuring players from Division IV, V, VI and VII teams. The second game is scheduled to kick off at 4 p.m. with players from Division I, II and III teams.

Tickets are $10 and available at the gates on game day. Gates open at 11 a.m.

The opening game will include area players JoJo France of Manchester, Miller Davies of Canton Central Catholic and Nathan Moore of Rootstown.

The North squad in the second game will be led by area coaches Nate Moore (Massillon), Greg Dennison (Buckeye), Tony Gotto (Barberton) and Mark Geis (Roots­town). Area players set to play are Aurora’s Montana Nietert and Mason Copley; Barberton’s Christian McCarroll, Keye Thompson and Garrett Turnbaugh; Canton McKinley’s Sio Saipaia and Xavier Smith; Coventry’s Treon Sibley; East’s Devanier Floyd; Jackson’s Jaret Pallotta; Massillon’s Lucas McGuire and Austin Kutscher; Revere’s Conor Head; Nordonia’s Tye Evans; North Royalton’s Jake Franczak; Perry’s Robby Kirchner; Stow’s Coryon Rice; and Woodridge’s King Alcardon Sanders.

200 goals for Kasson

Revere senior Zack Kasson scored his 200th career goal in lacrosse on Tuesday to lead the host Minutemen boys team to a 25-3 victory over rival Copley. Kasson’s 10th and final goal of the match gave him exactly 200 goals, coach Patrick Quinn said.

Baseball no-hitter

Pitcher Nate Stahl pitched his second no-hitter of the season on Monday to lead Walsh Jesuit (13-2, 6-0) to an 11-1 NCL Blue win in five innings over Mentor Lake Catholic.

Stahl also hit two doubles, one single, scored two runs and had two RBI. Tyler Pettorini and Evan Swan also had two hits and two RBI each for the Warriors.

Around the bases

• Beatrice Moxon and Breyonnah Chapman combined to pitch a no-hitter in Firestone’s 12-0 softball win over Buchtel on Monday. Audrey Hartman went 3-for-3 with five RBI, and Kelsey Vonstein hit a home run for the Falcons.

• Sadie Mrakuzic had three hits — including a home run — with four RBI and three runs scored to lead Hudson to a 15-5 softball win over Cuyahoga Falls. Mariah Duncan had three hits, two runs scored and an RBI for the Explorers, and Kayla Tucciarelli and Taylor Brest each had two hits, two RBI and two runs scored.

• Bowen Brown hit a home run, a single, scored two runs and had two RBI to lead Ravenna (6-4, 6-0) to a 12-2 PTC Metro baseball win over Norton on Monday.

Nate Holt contributed three hits, two runs, two RBI and pitched five innings in the victory. Carter Bregant and Michael Wunderle also scored two runs each and Adam Keto had two RBI.

• Archbishop Hoban (7-4) topped Youngstown Ursuline 10-0 in baseball on Sunday with Ben Lefebvre, Jordan Mick and Jack Bennett each getting two hits. Lefebvre had two RBI and Mick scored two runs.
