The Royals scored two goals in each half while not allowing a shot on goal in a Principals’ Athletic Conference road victory on Wednesday night.

Michael Raymer scored twice for CVCA (5-5-2, 3-5). Sully Deetscreek earned an assist.

CVCA outshot Fairless 14-0.

Highland 0, Copley 0

The back line and the goalies stood out in this Suburban League showdown at Copley High School.

Highland goalkeeper Alexandra Mazzaro batted away four shots to earn the clean sheet for the Hornets (5-3-2, 1-1-2).

Copley goalie Mackenzie Quinn earned another shutout for her Indians (8-2-1, 3-0-1), saving both shots on goal.

St. Vincent-St. Mary 1, Field 0

Sydney Powell found the back of the net early on, and the Fighting Irish defense made it stand up as St.-V-M handed Field its first loss of the season.

Erin Dempsey earned the assist on the goal that improved St-V-M to 10-2. The Falcons dropped to 9-1-1.

Perrin Morgan turned away all five shots on goal to preserve the shutout.

Jackson 1, Green 0

After struggling to produce many offensive chances, the Polar Bears scored with 3:39 remaining to prevent the upset and earn a Federal League road win.

Senior Nicole Fleming was the hero, scoring the goal off an assist from senior Brooke Parsons.

Jackson, ranked 11th in the Division I OSSCA state poll, improves to 8-2-1 after Chloe Falconer saved all 12 Green shots.

Walsh Jesuit 7, Beaumont School 0

The Warriors continue to roll as five different scorers contributed to a dominant Senior Night victory in the North Coast League.

Walsh Jesuit (11-0-1, 4-0) scored a goal on half of its shots taken. The fourth-ranked team in the latest OSSCA Division I state poll scored four goals in the first half.

Seniors Aubrey Bechter, Julia Dziewisz and Elise Hearty all produced, combining for five goals.

Bechter and Dziewisz had two each.

Dziewisz also added two assists while Hearty tacked on one.

Brecksville 1, North Royalton 0

Freshman Molly Holzinger came up big to defeat the host Polar Bears.

Holzinger scored off a first-half assist from Jenna Schniegenberg.
