Junior Mary Ryan scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and the host Blue Devils (7-1) defeated the Royals (3-6) in a semifinal game of the Tallmadge Holiday Tournament. Seniors Megan Foley and Ashley Tyna each scored 11 points to lead the Royals.

Tallmadge plays Stow at 7:30 tonight in the championship game.

Sophomore guard Chrissie Vaughn scored a game-high 11 points and the visiting Bulldogs (7-2) defeated the Rough Riders (5-5) in the other semifinal of the Tallmadge Holiday Tournament to give Stow coach Bob Podges his 200th career victory.

Firestone 62,?Warren Harding 39

Sophomore Darian Carter scored 16 points and grabbed 17 rebounds for the host Falcons (8-3) in a nonleague win.

Senior Brea Forney scored 16 points and had nine assists and junior Yolanda Sims added 12 points and had seven steals for the Falcons.

Jackson 55, Revere 51

The host Polar Bears (4-4) outscored the Minutemen (4-4) 27-6 in the third quarter to erase a 10-point halftime deficit in a win at the Jackson Holiday Classic.

Hanna Angelo scored 15 points, Landrie Grace scored 14 and Abby Duffy scored 13 for the Polar Bears.

Clara Lemmon scored 10 points for the Leopards (7-2) in a win over the Bulldogs (3-6) at the Jackson Holiday Classic. McKenzie Black led the Bulldogs with 11 points.

Senior Rachel Goddard scored 14 points, senior McKenzie O’Brien added 13 and the host Grizzlies (9-1) defeated the Meteors (6-3).

Manchester 81,?Buchtel 37

Sophomore Alex Klein’s 21 points and seven rebounds led the visiting Panthers (8-3) over the Griffins in a nonleague game. Junior Karley Dougherty scored 20 points for the Panthers.

Zack Brandy scored 15 points for the host Explorers (5-2) in a nonleague win over the Rockets (3-4).
