Manchester 2, W. Reserve Academy 1

Nevaeh Mowry scored a goal and assisted on another to help the Panthers hand the Pioneers their first loss of the season.

The visiting Panthers led 1-0 at the break before WRA tied it up early in the second half.

The win improved Manchester to 2-1-1, while Western Reserve Academy dropped to 2-1.

Jackson 2, Lake 1

Caitlin Bruni and Brooke Parsons each scored a goal to lead the visiting Polar Bears over the previously unbeaten Blue Streaks.

Keeper Chloe Falconer turned away four shots for the Polar Bears (3-1).

Madison Pepper scored the lone goal for Lake (2-1-1).

Northwest 3, Triway 0

The host Indians got goals from three different players en route to their first victory of the season.

Ashley Owsiany, Rebekah Knight and Olivia Wyles found the back of the net for Northwest (1-3, 1-1), which outshot the Titans (1-4, 0-2) 18-3.

Boys soccer

Manchester 8, Orrville 0

Gabe Sharrock scored four goals and Landon Lucas tacked on two goals and two assists for the visiting Panthers.

Manchester led 6-0 at the half and tallied 24 shots compared to eight for the Red Riders.

Ben Podnar saved all eight shots in goal to earn the clean sheet.

Girls golf

Kent Roosevelt 156, Stow 188

Grace Thompson and Lauren Garner shared medalist honors with 38s to lead the Rough Riders to victory at Fox Den Golf Club.

Hannah Thomas and Emma Picicco rounded out the top four with 40s as Roosevelt improved to 7-0.

Archbishop Hoban 160, Revere 182

Armani Shepherd was match medalist with an even-par 35 but it was not enough as the Minutemen fell to the Knights at Raymond C. Firestone Golf Course.

Hannah Finley carded a 36 and Mackenna Harding shot a 37 to pace Hoban. Samantha Huth added a 41.
