Senior Blake Jenkins hit a two-run home run in the first inning to lead the host Warriors (15-1, 5-0) to a win over the Bengals (4-10, 0-6) and a perfect record in the North Coast League.

Seniors Azim Qadri, Connor Regan and Dominic Mittiga each had an RBI for the Warriors.

Copley 7, Green 2

Junior Jared Deagan doubled and drove in three runs, and juniors Chris Brennan and Trey Neal each had two RBI for the host Indians (10-4, 7-2) in a Suburban League win over the Bulldogs (6-9, 3-5).

Deagan allowed two runs on three hits for his third win of the season.

Highland 5, Tallmadge 4

Manny Dela Cerna doubled, homered and drove in three runs, and the visiting Hornets (8-8, 5-4) defeated the Blue Devils (8-9, 4-5) in a Suburban League game.

Freshman Jared Burick singled twice and drove in a run for the Blue Devils.

Coventry 10,?Rootstown 2

Freshman Trent Liebert singled twice, doubled and had two RBI to lead the host Comets (4-11) in a rout over the Rovers. Junior Aric Roberts also drove in two runs for the Comets.

Hudson 5, Solon 2

Jake Stuursma doubled and scored two runs, and Jackson Hickert won his fifth game of the season to lead the visiting Explorers (13-2, 7-0 Northeast Ohio Conference) over the Comets (10-6, 4-3).

Senior Kody VonStein pitched a no-hitter through four innings of work and struck out five in his first high school start to lead the Falcons (7-10) over the Griffins in a City Series game.

Hannah Pizzino hit the game-winning single in the bottom of the eighth inning to give the host Bulldogs (14-3, 6-2 Suburban) the win.
