The host Vikings couldn’t come back from a rough second quarter in which they were held to five points in a Copley Division I sectional.

The Generals (9-14) were led by seniors Corey Beckett (19 points) and Adam O’Brien (13). Junior Cam Daugherty added 15 points.

Nick Evans led all scorers with 29 points for the Vikings (8-15), supported by 15 points from junior Tony Iero.

Wadsworth 52,?Kent Roosevelt 50

Junior Joel Kipfer converted a lay-up off a pass from Austin White to take the lead with four seconds remaining for the host Grizzlies in a Copley Division I sectional.

Kipfer led the Grizzlies (16-7) with 16 points.

Myles Wright scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the Rough Riders (12-11).

Ellet 57, Copley 54

Brandon Chillious kept the Indians (8-15) in the game with a 30-point performance, but the host Orangemen (19-3) held the advantage in the second half of a Canton Division I sectional.

Senior Dionte Williams scored nine of his team-high 24 points in the fourth quarter for Ellet. Jake Williams added 12 points and eight rebounds.

Cuyahoga Falls 49,?Louisville 46

Senior Angelo Cugini scored 20 points to lead the host Black Tigers (16-7) in a Canton Division I sectional.

The Leopards (12-10) were led by junior Blake Hoover’s 22 points.

Green 58, Hudson 49

A big third quarter in which the host Bulldogs outscored the Explorers 21-11 led them to a Copley Division I sectional victory.

Junior Austin Marciniak led all scorers with 17 points for the Bulldogs (14-8).

The Explorers (10-12) were led by Ian Laver’s 16 points.

GlenOak 82, Firestone 49

Brandon Grider scored 20 points to lead the host Golden Eagles (16-7) in a Copley Division I sectional.

Jasean Lewis added 13 points for the Eagles and Jaret Andres had 10.

The Falcons (7-15) were led by Raybon Lewis’ 20 points.
