Austintown Div. I Regional

North Canton Hoover, Wadsworth and Twinsburg will each be represented in two events at the state meet after their showing Wednesday.

Hoover’s girls 3,200 relay team of Tiffany Bentler, Ashley Hinderer, Colleen Bentler and Taylor Cropper earned top honors with a time of 9:25.65.

Julie Worley will also advance in the girls high jump with a 5-5 jump that earned her a share of second place.

Wadsworth finished as runner-up in the 3,200 relay and will also send Nick Seme in the discus throw.

Twinsburg will send its boys 3,200 relay team along with Samantha Monachino in the girls high jump.

Amherst Div. I Regional

Medina leads the boys through four events and is second in girls through three.

The Bees will send both their 3,200 meter relay teams to state, along with Cari Pallini in the girls shot put and Kyle Hutchison in the boys pole vault.

Navarre Div. III Regional

Rootstown will send two regional champions to the state meet. David Paliscak won the discus with a toss of 178-8, and Dawn Freeland won the girls shot put with a throw of 40-3.
