Junior Emily Cerepak scored 15 points, and the host Comets (1-1) rallied in the second half to defeat the Magics (0-2).

The Comets outscored the Magics 24-16 in the second half after trailing by three at halftime for their first win of the season.

Junior Courtney Basinger scored 10 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Comets, and Macy Chik led the Magics with 15 points.

Cuyahoga Falls 36, Aurora 30

Junior Karleigh Zeiszler scored 18 points, and the visiting Black Tigers (1-1) made 7-of-8 free throws in the fourth quarter to rally for the win.

The Black Tigers went on an 11-5 run in the fourth quarter to break a 25-25 tie for the win. The Greenmen led 19-16 at halftime and were up 13-3 in the first quarter.

Sophomore Jodi Johnson scored 18 points, and senior Hannah Centea added 16 points for the host Grizzlies (2-0).

Junior Alison Targosky scored 18 points, and the visiting Rockets (1-1) easily defeated the Vikings (0-1). Senior Marra Woods and junior Shania Williams each scored 11 points for the Rockets.

Freshman Olivia Ayres scored 11 points, and junior Joanna Catalano added 10 points for the host Blue Devils (2-0) in a win over the Ravens (1-1).

Senior Baylen Drylund scored 10 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the host Blue Streaks (2-0).

The Hudson boys 200-meter medley relay team of Peyton Brown, Ross Palazzo, Brendon Mulcahey and Cole Clampffer set a Hudson pool record with a time of 1:49.57 in a 148-37 win over Brunswick.
