St. Vincent-St. Mary 40,?Youngstown Ursuline 7

Parris Campbell rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns, and Vince Lockett rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown to lead visiting St. Vincent-St. Mary over Youngstown Ursuline at Youngstown State University on Thursday night.

St. V-M (10-0) led 19-7 at halftime but erupted for 21 points in the third quarter to put the game away for its 16th consecutive win.

St. V-M scored first on a fumble recovery in the end zone by Travonte Junius.

Ursuline answered in the second quarter with a touchdown to tie the score 7-7.

Campbell and Lockett each rushed for a touchdown in the second quarter, and Campbellís 80-yard touchdown run sparked St. V-Mís 21-point third quarter.

Aaron Bushner threw a 33-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Moran and Joe Faetanini had a 5-yard touchdown run for the St. V-M offense.

Dante Booker led the St. V-M defense with six tackles, two for a loss, and the St. V-M defense held Ursuline to 58 rushing yards and six passing yards.

St. V-M, the defending state champion in Division III, will host a first-round playoff game Nov. 8.
