Coffman, a junior, has helped Mogadore (12-2, 9-0 PTC County) win four games in a row and nine out of 10. In the four recent wins, he had 15 points and seven rebounds against Crestwood (65-55), 19 points and five rebounds versus Youngstown Valley Christian (68-63, OT), six points against Southeast (80-44) and 14 points versus Springfield (61-52). He made 11 3-pointers during the four-game stretch.
Perelka, a senior, recorded four pins to help Brecksville reach the Division I team state tournament on Sunday in Columbus. He pinned foes from Cuyahoga Falls, Walsh Jesuit, Solon and Mentor as the Bees won a regional team title. Brecksville beat Falls 72-6, Walsh 66-8, Solon 64-12 and Mentor 71-6.
Stahl, a senior, led the Coventry boys to a Portage Trail Conference tournament championship at Spins Bowl in Akron. He rolled a 300 in one game and finished with the top series with a 817.
Swann, a senior, led the Springfield girls to a Portage Trail Conference tournament championship at Spins Bowl in Akron with a team-high 571 series.
St. Vincent-St. Mary, wrestling
Wymer, a senior, recorded four pins to help St. V-M advance to the Division II team state tournament on Sunday. He pinned opponents from Revere, Parma Padua, Cloverleaf and West Holmes as the Irish won a regional team title. St. V-M beat Revere (51-30), Padua (49-30), Cloverleaf (55-24) and West Holmes (61-12).
