Baith, a sophomore, established a City Series championship meet record in the girls discus at Ellet with a winning throw of 126 feet, 5 inches, surpassing a toss of 124-9 by Pam Lewis of East in 1989. Baith’s 126-5 in the discus is also a school record, as was her meet-winning mark of 37-¾ in the shot put. The Falcons won the City Series girls and boys team titles.

MATT BUSER

Revere, baseball

Buser, a junior, led Revere to a spot in the Division II district tournament with sectional victories over visiting Streetsboro (12-0) and host Chagrin Falls (6-3). Buser went 4-for-4 with four RBI against Streetsboro and 4-for-4 with one run scored versus No. 1 seed Chagrin Falls.

COLE FARREN

Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, tennis

Farren, a junior, advanced to the Division II district tournament by winning a sectional singles title at Rocky River. Farren defeated foes from Rocky River, Oberlin and Lake Ridge Academy.



RHIANNON STAMS

St. Vincent- St. Mary, lacrosse

Stams, a junior, scored a school-record six goals and also had one assist and six draw controls to lead the Irish to a 14-6 victory over GlenOak in girls lacrosse.





AARON YEH

Brecksville, tennis

Yeh, a senior, advanced to the Division I district tournament after winning a sectional singles title at Medina with victories over foes from Wadsworth, Hudson, Copley, Kent Roosevelt and Brunswick.
