Hadler, a sophomore, entered the week with a 30-3 overall record as Highland’s first singles player. Her resume includes a Division I sectional tournament championship at Medina with a 5-0 record and a Suburban League American Conference title with a 2-0 record in the postseason tournament at Highland.
Johnson, a senior, rushed for a Stark County-record 462 yards and scored six touchdowns on 24 carries to lead the host Aviators to a 70-40 win Friday over Salem (4-3). Johnson scored on runs of 63, 30, 80, 80, 24 and 56 yards to help Alliance (6-1) win its fifth game in a row.
Kohmann, a senior, guided Revere to a 2-1 record last week. She posted seven kills, 28 assists, two blocks and two service aces in a win over Kent Roosevelt, had seven kills, 13 assists and six digs in a victory over Aurora and had 17 kills, 16 assists, 21 service points, four service aces and 12 digs in a loss to Norton.
Mathey, a senior, shot a 1-over 73 last week to place second in the Division I sectional tournament at the Elms Country Club of Massillon. She advanced to this week’s district tournament, where her season came to an end at the Legends of Massillon.
Sharrock, a junior, scored four goals in Manchester’s 6-3 Senior Night win over visiting Northwest last week and, in the process, tied his own school season record with 32 goals. He scored a goal with his left foot, right foot, head and off of a penalty kick. Manchester (12-1-1) concludes its regular season this week with matches at Fairless and at Berlin Hiland.
