Larnell Nealy and Bryce Harvey combined for 48 points as the Indians improved to 16-0 with a nonleague home victory over the Tigers Saturday.

Harvey scored a game-high 25 points, Nealy had 23, Brian Roberts added 20 off the bench and Jeffery Thomas scored 10 to round out Copley’s double-digit scorers.

A win Tuesday over visiting Wadsworth would give the Indians the outright Suburban League American Conference title.

Henry Baddley’s 22 points and Jayvon Graves’ 15 led the Irish over visiting Shaker Heights (8-6). Scott Walter added 10 for St. V-M (12-3).

North Royalton 42,?Barberton 31

Mitch Filippi’s 17 points led the Bears to a Suburban League crossover win at Barberton.

Girls basketball

Cloverleaf 63,?Triway 58

The Colts (14-5) trailed 35-22 early in the second half before ending the game on a 41-23 run for the nonleague win.

Lexi Civittolo scored 29 second-half points to finish with 39 points, tying a Medina County girls basketball single-game high. The senior was 13-for-20 from the floor and hit 9-of-14 from the free-throw line. Civittolo, who hit four 3-pointers in the second half, also had four steals and two blocks.

Host Triway (6-12) was led by Micha Findley and Tanner Wirth with 12 points each.

Springfield 44, Ellet 35

Allie Rodenbucher’s 15 points led the host Spartans (3-16).

St. Thomas Aquinas 54,?Young. Christian 40

The Knights (9-9) won their sixth consecutive game, beating the visiting Eagles (10-7) after falling to them earlier this season. Katie Hiestand and Addison Rhodes each scored 14 points for Aquinas.

West Branch 69,?Alliance 40

Sophomore Natalie Zuchowski’s double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds led West Branch (10-8, 8-5) to a Northeastern Buckeye Conference road win.

North Canton Hoover 50,?Green 40

Maddie Blyer scored 14 points and Lexi Manos had 13 in the Vikings’ Federal League victory.

Twinsburg 40,?Hudson 35

Junior guard Jasmine Bishop scored almost half of the Tigers’ points, netting 19 in a Suburban League home win.

In a North Coast League game, Hannah Bouchy’s 15 points led the Warriors.

Portage Trail Conference

Crestwood, behind Jolson French’s 726 day, took the boys team title of the Portage Trail Conference Tournament at Bill White’s Twin Star Lanes in Kent. Collin McGurer rolled a 752 for Garrettsville, which was sixth as a team. Coventry was runner-up to Crestwood’s 4,378 with a 4,314.

Emily Krosnick rolled games of 194, 218 and 245 for a 657 series to take medalist honors for first-place Norton. Crestwood finished second.
