The Indians improved to 23-0 with an easy victory over the visiting Dragons (4-18) in a Division I sectional opener.

Senior guard Larnell Nealy led the Indians with a game-high 22 points, which included six 3-pointers. Senior guard Dominick Holley scored a team-high 21 points for the Dragons.

Jackson 84, Garfield 50

The Polar Bears roared out to a 23-1 first-quarter lead en route to a convincing win over the visiting Rams in a Division I sectional semifinal. Jackson (19-4) forced 23 turnovers by the Rams (5-16).

Logan Hill scored a game-high 20 points and Jaret Pallotta and Michael Zitney added 13 points and 11 points, respectively, for the Polar Bears. Storm Cherry scored 16 points for the Rams.

The Hornets (14-9) bested the Black Tigers (11-12) in a sectional opener behind a 20-point performance by sophomore forward Collin Rittman.

Isaac Matejin chipped in 12 points for the Hornets, and Kavon Gainer scored 13 points for the Black Tigers.

Warren Harding 91, Springfield 47

Gabe Simpson scored a game-high 23 points as Warren Harding cruised over visiting Springfield. Shakem Johnson added 20 points for Warren Harding. Ronnie Dawson scored 13 points for Springfield.

Medina 88, North 38

Jackson Sartainís 19 points helped Medina overpower visiting North in a Division I sectional semifinal. Sevon Gordon scored 19 points for North.
