Freshman guard Sloane Sapp scored 13 points to lift the Warriors (2-0) over Elyria at home. Sophomore guard Hannah Bouchy, who scored 11 points, and Sapp connected on five of the team’s six 3-pointers.

The Blue Devils (3-0) overcame an early deficit to defeat the visiting Falcons behind Olivia Ayres’ 13 points. The Blue Devils’ lead peaked at 20 points in the second half. The Falcons’ Jillian Piacella scored 15 points.

Norton 55, ?Manchester 49

The Panthers erupted for 22 points in the fourth quarter to secure a road win over Manchester (0-2). Norton’s Kelsey Hosey had 13 points, and McKenzie Ferguson finished with 15 for Manchester. The Panthers rallied to tie the game at 33 entering the fourth quarter despite scoring just four points in the first quarter.

Cloverleaf 58, Crestwood 45

Lexi Civittolo’s 22 points pushed the Colts (3-0) past the Red Devils (0-2). Civittolo also finished with 10 rebounds, second-most on the team, and hit five 3-pointers. Helaina Limas added 10 points.

Perry 46, ?North Royalton 42

Karlee Pieru scored 18 points as the Panthers (2-0) pulled out a home win over the Bears (0-2). Pieru hit a free throw to ice the game after Kimmie Borck had knocked down two free throws to give Perry the lead.

West Branch 46, Canfield 31

The Warriors picked up their first win of the season over the visiting Cardinals (1-1). Kaylee Manning was the only player in the game to score in double digits, finishing with 19 points to pace the Warriors.
