Orioles 6, Athletics 1 — Rookie Wei-Yin Chen struck out a career-high 12, Matt Wieters hit a three-run homer and the host Baltimore Orioles beat the Oakland Athletics 6-1. Chen (9-6) allowed one unearned run, three hits and four walks in 5 ? innings.
Tigers 4, Blue Jays 1 — Jhonny Peralta hit two home runs, Doug Fister pitched eight innings and the visiting Detroit Tigers beat the Toronto Blue Jays to avoid a three-game sweep. Peralta hit a three-run drive off Brett Cecil in the second and added a solo shot against Joel Carreno in the ninth.
Rays 2, Angels 0 — Zack Greinke was outpitched by Jeremy Hellickson in his Los Angeles Angels’ debut, losing to the visiting Tampa Bay Rays. Obtained Friday from Milwaukee, Greinke allowed two runs and seven hits in seven innings and struck out eight.
Mariners 7, Royals 6 — Felix Hernandez shook off a line drive to his left wrist and threw seven strong innings, and the Seattle Mariners overcame bullpen problems to beat the visiting Kansas City Royals.
Rangers 2, White Sox 0 — Scott Feldman tied a career high by pitching eight shutout innings in helping the host Texas Rangers to a victory over the Chicago White Sox. David Murphy had three hits, including a double, and Josh Hamilton and Nelson Cruz each scored a run for the Rangers.
Red Sox 3, Yankees 2 — Pedro Ciriaco blooped an RBI single in the 10th inning for his latest big hit against the New York Yankees, and the visiting Boston Red Sox squeaked out a victory moments after manager Bobby Valentine was ejected.

Reds 7, Rockies 2 — The Cincinnati Reds posted their 10th straight win and matched their best streak in 14 years, with Mat Latos pitching eight strong innings and Drew Stubbs homering in a victory over the host Colorado Rockies.
Cubs 4, Cardinals 2 — Anthony Rizzo hit a two-run homer in the 10th inning that lifted the host Chicago Cubs over the St. Louis Cardinals. Starlin Castro led off the 10th with a single against Trevor Rosenthal (0-1) and Rizzo followed with his seventh homer. James Russell (5-0) worked an inning for the win.
Astros 9, Pirates 5 — The Astros ended their team-record losing streak at 12 games, beating the visiting Pittsburgh Pirates behind three hits and three RBI from Marwin Gonzalez. Lucas Harrell (8-7) allowed two runs and five hits in 5? innings.
Braves 6, Phillies 2 — Jason Heyward and Chipper Jones homered off Roy Halladay, and the host Atlanta Braves completed a three-game sweep of the last-place Philadelphia Phillies with a victory. With the Braves ahead 3-2, Freddie Freeman hit a two-run single off Jake Diekman in a three-run seventh.
Marlins 5, Padres 4 — Josh Johnson tied a career high with six walks as the host Miami Marlins rallied from a two-run deficit and beat the San Diego Padres 5-4 in 10 innings Sunday. Justin Ruggiano hit a game-ending single off Brad Brach (0-2) after Jose Reyes doubled leading off and Carlos Lee was intentionally walked.
Mets 5, Diamondbacks 1 — R.A. Dickey rebounded from his first loss in three months to gain a win, and the visiting New York Mets beat the Arizona Diamondbacks for just their third victory in 17 games.
Nationals 11, Brewers 10 — Michael Morse hit a tying, two-run homer in the ninth inning, then delivered a two-run double in the 11th that sent the visiting Washington Nationals over the Milwaukee Brewers.
Dodgers 4, Giants 0 — Clayton Kershaw pitched a five-hitter for his second shutout of the season, and the visiting Los Angeles Dodgers beat the San Francisco Giants. Luis Cruz drove in two runs, and Matt Kemp, Andre Ethier, James Loney and Mark Ellis had two hits apiece for Los Angeles.
