The Ohio State' men's basketball team was picked 11th in the initial Associated Press top 25 poll.



Kentucky was picked as the top team and garnered 27 of 65 first-place votes.



Ohio State is one of four Big Ten teams ranked in the top 25. Michigan State was picked second in the nation and received 22 first-place votes. Michigan begins the season ranked seventh. Wisconsin at No. 20 is the other Big Ten team in the top 25.



The Buckeyes was seventh in the final AP poll last season.
