For the 2014 recruiting class, Urban Meyer has 22 commitments locked up leading up to National Signing Day on Wednesday.

Seven of the 22 have already enrolled in classes at Ohio State. The best among them, according to recruiting websites, is inside linebacker Raekwon McMillan. In 247 Sports' composite rankings, McMillan is rated as the nation's No. 22 overall player and top player at his position.

Of the 15 hard commits Meyer has pulled in, the best is Detroit cornerback Damon Webb. He's rated by 247 as the No. 35 overall player in the nation and the fifth-best cornerback recruit.

Locally, Meyer has commitments from Dante Booker and Parris Campbell from St. Vincent-St. Mary.

It's worth noting that the players committed can still change schools. Offensive tackle recruit Jamarco Jones, for instance, committed to Ohio State last June. But according to various reports, he plans on visiting Michigan State prior to signing day. Jones was recruited by Mike Vrabel, who left Ohio State to coach in the NFL with the Houston Texans.

Ohio State is still heavily in play for five-star defensive end Malik McDowell. He tweeted that Ohio State was in his top four, along with Florida State, Michigan and Michigan State. The Buckeyes are reportedly looking at offenisve tackle Chukwuma Okorafor, McDowell's teammate. He's currently committed to Western Michigan, but received offers from schools like Florida, Nebraska and Oklahoma, among others. Ohio State hasn't offered Okorafor a scholarship, but may if they lose Jones to Michigan State.

Tight end David Njoku is a name to keep in mind over the next several days. He plans on visiting Ohio State this weekend.
