Samardo Samuels enjoyed a big night with 20 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and a steal to lead the host Canton Charge (8-8) to an 89-80 win over the Tulsa 66ers (8-5) on Saturday night at Canton Memorial Civic Center in the NBA D League.

Samuels, who has been on the Cleveland Cavaliers for two seasons, is hoping to resurrect his NBA career with the Charge.

Antoine Aguido, the 6-3 guard from Hofstra, scored 19 points, including hitting 3-of-6 3-point shots.

Arinze Onuaku, 6-foot-9 center-forward from Syracuse, had 15 points, making 7-of-10 shots from the floor, and grabbed 12 rebounds.

Jorge Gutierrez scored 13 points, had four assists and two steals in the win.

The Charge will hit the road, facing Springfield on Thursday, Maine on Saturday, then playing Jan. 8 and 10 in Reno in the NBA D Showcase against Idaho and Santa Cruz.
