The club will stock rainbow trout for the free event, which is open to children 15 or younger. Adult supervision is required. Adults may not fish. Bring your own fishing equipment and bait. If you forget your bait, the park will have bait for sale. Minnows are not permitted. Trophies will be awarded. Registration is not required. Portage County — Portage-Summit Field & Stream Club will conduct a hunter education class today and Saturday at the Portage-Summit Field and Stream Club, 8504 U.S. 224, Deerfield Township. Today’s session will be 6 to 9 p.m. while Saturday’s class will be 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The course is free. Students are asked to register online at www.dnr.state.oh.us or by calling 800-WILDLIFE.
