Hallie Wilson hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the USSSA Florida Pride to a 5-4 victory over the Racers in Ann Arbor, Mich., Monday night. It was the third straight win for the Pride (13-3) over the Racers and their sixth in a row overall.

The Racers (9-8) jumped ahead early, scoring two runs in the first inning. But the Pride used two hits to score twice in the second inning to tie it 2-2.

First baseman Sam Fischer hit a solo home run to give the Racers a 3-2 lead in the third, and an RBI single by Sami Fagan made it 4-2 in the fourth.

Amanda Kamekona hit a solo home run off Racers pitcher Rachele Fico in the fourth to make it 4-3, but Fico averted further damage when she struck out Shelby Pendley looking with the bases loaded.

The Pride knotted it at 4-4 in the sixth on Megan Wiggins’ RBI single.

Kirsti Merritt and Chelsea Goodacre hit back-to-back singles with one out in the seventh. After a strikeout, Wilson singled to left for the game-winner.

Jailyn Ford (4-4) was tagged with the loss.
