Rob Kaminsky pitched 7? innings and earned his 10th win for the RubberDucks on Monday night in Erie, Pa.

Kaminsky improved to 10-7, giving up only one run on four hits. He walked two and struck out three, and had just enough run support to help the Ducks keep pace with the Eastern League West Division-leading Altoona Curve. The Ducks are in second place, 2˝ games behind.

Robbie Aviles replaced Kaminsky in the eighth, and walked the two batters he faced. Nick Maronde replaced Aviles and went 1? innings to pick up his fourth save.

Maronde’s only blip was a ninth-inning homer he surrendered to Grayson Greiner.

The Ducks’ first run came in the second when Mike Papi walked and scored on a bases-loaded walk to Greg Allen. In the third, Jordan Smith was hit by a pitch, then scored on a single by Joe Sever.

The Ducks added a run in both the sixth and seventh innings to improve to 71-62 overall.
